9 to 5 (1980)

In 9 to 5, three secretaries fed up with their sexist, credit stealing boss take matters into their own hands, and end up running the office better than he ever did.

Behind the slapstick is a sharp workplace satire: equal pay, flexible hours, childcare and harassment were all on the table. The film drew on the real organising of women office workers in the 1970s and is still one of the most popular feminist comedies ever made.
